Her fine arts complement her interior design projects across Europe, the United States, and Canada. She has received numerous awards and has had numerous solo and group exhibitions worldwide.
Ellis's early work focused on the organic relationships between shapes and colors, often incorporating elements of nature and sylph-like figures. Her later paintings are large, multi-panel acrylics with vivid colors and multiple layers of depth. Her current technique starts with "flowing rivers of color." Her recent works reveal a fascination with the origin of existence and the connection between the vastness of the Universe and subatomic energy particles. She has explored this in series of large canvases titled "Matrix," "Expansion," "Connectivity," "Flow," and "Radiance." Her paintings vibrate with primary colors, revealing messages of joy, gratitude, and spiritual vitality.
