Finely inlaid, it opens at the front with … Read more A Napoleon III period English sideboard in walnut and marquetry, 19th century. Finely inlaid, it opens at the front with two side doors fitted with framed mirrors, joined in the center by a wide fixed panel in the same style as the doors and framed by turned wooden columns. The white marble top with a corbelled edge, following the shape of the front, rests on rounded uprights, all terminating on a projecting plinth. The top is adorned with a scalloped, openwork mirror carved with a vegetal and rocaille motif. The interior features a large shelving unit. Needs waxing.
