Manufactured by the famous émaillerie alsacienne in strasbourg, it illustrates 20th century french industrial know-how in enamelled signage. Main characteristics: material and manufacture: double-fired enamelled sheet metal, guaranteeing remarkable shine and durability. The thick enamel shows slight wear and rust marks at the perforations, evidence of its outdoor use. Typography: typical lettering of station or street signs, very legible and contrasting. The inscription "saint sulpice" runs along the entire length, printed in creamy beige on a deep burgundy enamelled background.
