A Mid-Century bottle opener from the 1950s by Richard Rohac, Vienna, Austria. Made of blackened brass, it depicts a leaning, presumably tipsy gentleman wearing a top hat and scarf, with a bottle of Champagne tucked into his coat pocket — he looks as if he's just returning home from a lively ball night. A charming and humorous design — an original and eye-catching accessory for any bar or table setting. Good vintage condition with a light brass patina. Measures 3.25" high. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
issues arising from misattribution
