Composed of a naked female torso placed in the center, surrounded by ten breasts arranged in frames, it forms a geometric whole where each element is highlighted. Mounted on a metal support imposes a strong visual impact and demonstrates an aesthetic research characteristic of its time. Main characteristics Material & Technique: - Made in plaster, each casting is then gilded with leaf to give a shine and a striking play of reflections. - The finishes reveal slight irregularities, highlighting the craftsmanship and the unique dimension of the piece. Composition: - In the center, the detailed female torso, representation of nudity in all its plastic force. - Around, ten breasts are arranged in lateral frames, forming a rhythm and a repetition which bring an almost ritualistic side to the whole. Dimensions: 212 cm (height) - 97 cm (width) - 35 cm (depth) Its imposing proportions and its metal support give it a sculptural character in its own right, ready to occupy a large space in an interior, a hall or a gallery. Aesthetics & Period: The use of gilding recalls the 1970s, marked by experimentation and a certain exuberance. The contrast between the black of the frame and the shine of the gold leaf highlights the plasticity of the body and invites the eye to concentrate on the surface. A singular and expressive work Seventies atmosphere: This sculpture embodies both the liberation of forms and the search for ostentatiousness, typical of the period. Focus on the body: By playing on nudity, it takes an artistic and symbolic look at femininity, capable of giving rise to multiple interpretations. Centerpiece: Its dimensions and gilding make it a powerful focal point in a room. It could find its place in an art gallery, a loft or a cultural space keen to offer a strong visual experience. This gilded plaster sculpture thus takes on a unique character, reflecting the artistic language of its time while asking current questions about the body and representation. It stands out as an intriguing art object, with multiple reflections, combining glamour, audacity and reflection.
