Authentic 19th century hand-wrought, heavy gauge iron fencing from Chicago, featuring classic detailing and a beautifully aged surface. These substantial pieces showcase traditional spear finials, elegant scrollwork, and a strong linear rhythm that’s unmistakably early 19th-century urban ironwork.
Salvaged from a residential property, the fence reflects the craftsmanship and durability Chicago ironwork is known for—made before mass production, when pieces were forged to last generations. Two fence pieces are included as well as a gate for a total of three pieces. A rare and authentic piece of Chicago architectural history.
