Crafted from rosewood and mahogany featuring a magnificent detailed gilded eagle with spread wings and an original rouge specimen marble top. English origin and date from the mid-19th century. a carved wood gilt eagle figure with spread wings atop carved wood rocks, mahogany veneers, antiqued mirrored glass. The frieze is decorated with gilt egg and dart molding along the top, a brass inlay motif, and beaded gilt molding along the bottom edge. It is mostly unrestored, in wonderful antique condition. with the original gilt and stained finishes. Oozes sophistication and breeding.
