Gordon Hart (Scottish/American, born 1940)
Untitled minimalist painting in oil paint with gold leaf on heavy off-white Arches paper. Signed G. Hart and dated 1975 lower right.
Newly framed floated in gold leaf frame with black sides.
Known for non-objective minimalism Hart's work has been exhibited in the U.S. and abroad since 1964, including the Museum of Modern Art, NY. His work is in the permanent collections of the High Museum, Atlanta: the Neuberger Museum, NY and the Brooklyn Museum, NY.
