The holes in the back are to run the wires thru. There are small circles in front that are magnets to hold the doors closed. This is in excellent condition. Color is yellow. Top is laminated. This was in my daughter's room and used to hold her records and stereo. It is 18-1/2 inches wide, 30 inches high and 40 inches long. The top looks dark in the pictures but it is yellow like the rest of the piece. I also have this in white in another ad. See less
