Handsome and useful...what a great combo! A stylish looking Art Deco revival box by the husband and wide design team, R & Y Augousti of Paris. The box is covered with shagreen in a grayish charcoal shade and edged in bone. The interior is lined in an ebonized wood. The base is covered in a black satin fabric stamped with the Augousti design hallmark. R & Y Augousti have been creating furnishings since 1989 using luxury materials often with an Art Deco aesthetic. Their designs are sleek and modern both appealing to feminine and masculine decors. I love a good box whether it is truly used for organizing or simply decor.
Beautiful condition with some signs of wear and soiling to the fabric base though nothing truly objectionable.
Measures 7" wide x 5.25" deep x 4" tall.
