Vintage Wallace Sterling Flatware Violet 1904 Pattern Service for 6 With Antique Leather and Velvet Security Case - from a Palm Beach estate.
All are monogrammed with D -- this pattern was designed by Wallace to showcase the monogram - started in 1904 and discontinued in 1952.
This could be considered a luxe breakfast or seated brunch set for 6 - it's interesting how delicate the teaspoons are -- today they would be almost demitasse spoons --
The set was in use in the Palm Beach mansion continuously, nevertheless it has been professionally hand polished by us and stored as it was traditionally in the antique leather and velvet leather carrier to prevent tarnishing and to be ready for your own ad-hoc entertaining.

6 dinner knives, each length 9" long total weight 337 g - only the handles are sterling, as designed, Wallace made the blades from what appears to be stainless. altogether the knives weigh 337 g, but we estimate at least half of this weight is not steering silver.
6 sterling dinner forks 211 g total, each 7 1/8" long
11 teaspoons 167 g total, each spoon is 5 3/8 " long - the 12th teaspoon is missing
6 tablespoons 218 gr, 7' long each
1 sugar spoon - 24 gr 6" long. this is the only serving piece included it this set and it appears to be a breakfast or brunch item
total silver value as of June 10 2021 is approximately $700 our guesstimate
The antique P.L. North & Son Morooco leather case is quite unique and amazing - when unfurled approximately 72" long x 10 3/4 wide -- there are 50 loops, the early ones wider than those at the back which means they could accommodate serving pieces....Note: Dimensions of the case when rolled-up is 11" length x 6" diameter.
