Jefferson, This mid-century nautical treasure made by the Brandt Furniture Co of Hagerstown, Maryland. Depicting the schooner Grand Banks Fisherman Isiah L. Jefferson. "Grand Banks Fisherman” refers to a region southeast of Newfoundland and Nova Scotia.

The polished shine on the engraved slab top is so brilliant that it is difficult to photograph without catching a reflection that interferes with its beauty. It is not affixed to the table, but slips right in for a perfect fit, thus giving you the option for alternative uses. The table, itself, features beautiful mid-century turned legs that crisscross and have a decorative brass medallion on each side. The table is complete with a glass top (not permanently attached to table) which protects the stone slab beautifully and preserves its etching.
