1960's LAUREL LAMP CO Tulip Glass & Brass Floor Lamp by GERALD THURSTON

Gerald Thurston's (American, 1914 - ) elegant 1960's mid-century modern floor lamp was designed for Laurel Lamp Co. and fits into virtually any environment. The lamp's tulip-like form is topped with a hand-blown frosted glass shade made in Italy and it retains the original Laurel label. The shade is enveloped by an asymmetrical aluminum cup and supported by a slender brass column
and ending in a brass.

66.5" tall from base to top
10" x 10" at base

Condition
In perfect working order with a few small scratches on the brass column and a small dent on the side rim edge of the cup holding the glass as shown.
