This stunning North Indian rug was woven in the early 20th century, circa 1920. Elegant patina and distinguished pattern of this piece make it a true feast for the eye! The design includes an abrashed main field with leafy vinery curled around a central medallion with scalloped edge. A scrolling vinery border frames the whole, resulting in a very balanced composition. Color palette accompanying this piece is kept mostly in the neutral tones of beige and brown with some green to make it a bit more vibrant.
