Contrary to the other Persian carpets this one lacks a central medallion which was replaced with an all over pattern. Floral motif seems to be dominant here we can see delicate blossoms blooming and curling in the company of much bigger flowers. The frame, while not as complex as the central field, contains equally beautiful composition and tastefully contrasts with the opulence of the main pattern. Color palette consists of scarlet red with elements of clear white and blue, highlighted by the specks of black here and there See less
