Contrary to the other Persian carpets this one lacks a central medallion which was replaced with an all over botanic pattern. Floral motifs seem to be dominant here. The frame, while not as complex as the central field, contains equally beautiful composition and tastefully contrasts with the opulence of the main pattern. Color palette consists of red, yellow, brown, beige, anthracite, dark blue, black and ivory. See less
