Antique Shanxi Chinese Gold Painted Lacquered Side Board Table
47 x 18 x 31 inches.
There are two lower compartments with slide up doors. There is an upper compartment shelf. The doors are hinged with wood extensions that are removable as is typical of Chinese furniture.
This is from the norther province of Shanxi.
Wood is most probably Yumu 榆木 or Northern Elm.
