Expertly restored Swedish mid century modern "Ulvo" sideboard / buffet in teak by Yngve Ekstrom, made by Dux in August 1960.
The case, which sits atop a subtly geometric base, comprises a symmetrical layout, with a column of drawers in the center flanked by a pair of cabinet spaces on either side. The top drawer is felt-line with dividers for silverware, while the four below are open with maple interiors.
Recessed pulls and handles are sculpted into the face of the drawers and cabinet doors, adding texture and depth to the design.
A versatile piece that works equally well in a modern dining or living area as it does in a studio or workspace.
