Artist & Provenance
Majken Bergvin (1922–2012) was a Swedish visual artist who lived and worked in Fagersta. She studied under Gösta Nyberg and worked in both oil and graphic techniques. Her oeuvre includes landscapes, figure compositions, and still lifes, as well as motifs inspired by travels to Lofoten and Northern Norway. Bergvin exhibited widely, including a solo exhibition at Galerie Swedenborg in Stockholm.
