Sourced on the West coast of England, this is a classic 1930’s pantry cupboard used daily to store foods in a cool stone pantry. The mesh grill allowed air to circulate but prevented insects and other nasties from invading. Great original condition, crudely made in pine. Brilliant decorative or practical item. Shelves are crude, partly adjustable and the catch works.
