Crafted from walnut with walnut root veneer, the piece displays a warm colour and refined grain typical of furniture from this period.

The table features a hinged top that opens to reveal a mirror mounted on the underside, a characteristic detail of 19th-century sewing and work tables. Beneath the top is a divided interior compartment intended for sewing tools or small personal items. A small drawer at the front provides additional storage; it is not lockable, in keeping with the original design.

Supported by turned legs connected by a stretcher, the table is stable and well-proportioned. It shows wear consistent with age and use, which contributes to its authentic antique character.
