Sourced on the West coast of England, this is a classic 1930’s pantry cupboard used daily to store foods in a cool stone pantry. The mesh grill allowed air to circulate but prevented insects and other nasties from invading. Great original condition, crudely made in pine. Brilliant decorative or practical item. Shelves are crude and the pantry is open, but we don’t have the key to be able to lock it. Workshop Report: Our workshop team inspect every product and carry out any needed repairs to ensure that everything leaves us serviced and maintained ready for many more years of life. All of our vintage products show the rich beauty and history of their life with the knocks and bumps of many years of use and we try to minimise restoration to keep every piece as original as possible.
