1930's Small Scullery Country House Pantry Cabinet. Sourced on the West coast of England, this is a classic 1930's pantry cupboard used daily to store foods in a cool stone pantry. The mesh grill allowed air to circulate but prevented insects and other nasties from invading. Great original condition, crudely made in pine. Brilliant decorative or practical item. Shelves are crude and the pantry is open, but we don't have the key to be able to lock it. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
