Vintage mid-century modern teak 'Shara' credenza or sideboard designed by Robert Heritage for Meredew of Letchworth Garden City, UK. This extraordinary storage piece is one of Heritage's most unique designs. Heritage, best known for his work with premium manufacturer Archie Shine, is the most awarded British designer in history. Although Meredew was a very large manufacturer at the time, only a very limited number of Shara sideboards were produced. You won't find this one in your American neighborhood estate sale...
Features include (left-to-right): bank of four drawers, the top of which features dividers; central two-door cupboard with adjustable or removable shelf; hinged lift-and-fold cocktail cupboard with removable glass shelf; and very smart-looking inset aluminum hardware.
