A sculptural studio stoneware lidded bowl, likely late 20th century. Speckled oatmeal glaze with freehand blue-gray vine decoration. The lid’s double-loop finial and the scalloped tray-style rim give it wonderful movement and shadow. Signed on the base (illegible—appears to read “Hansen”). A handsome accent for a sideboard, bookcase, or kitchen display.
