Italian console in the Directoire style with faux marble facia matching original marble top,
circa 1800. Caryatids, draped female figures, serve as columns holding up the top of the console. This is a unique console which can serve as the focus of any room. In the 40+ years I have owned the piece, it has been the highlight of both modern and traditional rooms.
The console table has already been professionally crated by Kramer Fine Art Services. I have included a photograph of the two crates (one for the marble top, one for the body of the console) to assure any buyer that they are ready for secure transport.
