This antique teapot is a beautiful piece of Chinese export rose medallion porcelain. It is made out of white porcelain and exquisitely enameled with elaborate figural detailing along with elaborate floral, cloison, gilt detailing. The teapot is from the early 19th century and displays wonderfully. It is perfect for collectors of Asian antiques and those who appreciate the beauty of early porcelain. It measures 4 3/4 inches tall by 6 3/4 inches wide.
The finial has been re-attached at some point and there is a chip on the inner rim that is unseen when the lid is on.
