A very elegant table lamp from the fuhrmann & drösler arts and crafts workshops in dresden.
design: carl drösler, 1920s.
this lamp, crafted entirely from brass, impresses not only with its golden sheen but also with the beautiful, harmonious, geometrically expressive design of its individual components.
a fine example of german art deco/german modernism.
the lamp features a new white pleated shade in a historical style, echoing the staggered column shape of the base.
combined with polished brass, it exudes timelessness, warmth, and classic elegance.
base diameter: 15 cm

shade: diameter 33.5 cm / height 19.5 cm

condition:
the lamp has been completely disassembled, cleaned, and polished, retaining a certain patina of age.
there is a small dent in the base and a stress crack along the edge. Both are visually and technically unobtrusive.
signed on the underside with the fuhrmann & drösler company logo.
the lamp is sold complete with shade. This piece has an attribution mark,
i am sure that it is completely authentic and take full responsibility for any authenticity
issues arising from misattribution,
