A restored Biedermeier 3-drawer chest of drawers with star inlays, crafted with exceptional beauty, elegance, and practicality. The walnut front of the chest is particularly striking, featuring star inlays on the fittings and thread inlays on both sides. This chest has recently been restored, hand-polished with shellac, and finished with a shellac coating. It is clean, sturdy, and in superb condition. The drawers open and close smoothly and can be locked with a key. The interior of the chest has a pleasant fragrance. This is a beautiful original piece from the Biedermeier period, circa 1840!
