Crafted with intricate carvings, this original piece features hand painted detailing along with a wonderful handmade brass mechanism in the rear that is exposed when the wooden door is removed. it is a key wind mechanism that also has a bellow and when it's switched on the head turns and it make whistling noises. It is one of the nicest whistlers we have come across and would be a distinctive addition to any collection. Made in Germany, this whistler sculpture showcases the artistry and craftsmanship of traditional German woodworking techniques, making it a valuable and sought-after decorative item for collectors and enthusiasts alike. It is in good working condition and measures 14 1/2 inches tall by 9 inches wide.. There is one bagpipe horn missing and the noise isn't super loud leading us to believe it has some air getting out of the bellow somewhere. See less
