A dramatic pair of patinated bronze planter urns cast as highly sculptural compositions, each formed around a powerful stags head with fully modelled antlers sweeping outward to support the vessel above. The bodies are richly textured to suggest fur and musculature, giving the pieces a strong sense of naturalism and presence. Above each stag rises a deeply modelled urn, encircled with looping, branch-like handles and decorated with relief scenes of wildlife set within a wooded landscape, reinforcing the romantic, hunt-inspired theme.
