The form is compact and grounded, meant to sit comfortably on a desk, side table, or shelf without demanding attention, while still offering a strong material presence.

The body is clad in full-grain leather, hand-wrapped and stitched, paired with a solid wood base. The contrast between soft leather and structured wood is deliberate, emphasizing tactility and restraint. A warm 3500K LED provides an ambient glow suited to living spaces, libraries, and bedrooms, with a simple on/off switch and standard US plug for ease of use.

The lamp was designed and is handmade in Hunterdon County, New Jersey, by my studio. Shown here in olive leather with a white oak base, though other leather colors and wood finishes are available by request.

This piece is offered made to order and built one at a time. Each lamp is intended to age gracefully with use, developing character in the leather and patina in the wood over time. See less
