Attributed to Restoration Hardware's La Salle collection the cabinet features an ebonized wood frame entirely hand-wrapped in sheet metal with an amazing hand-applied zinc finish having an intentionally aged patina in the industrial aesthetic. The sheet metal is painstakingly secured with thousands of tiny hand-hammered nails. The top portion of the case is fronted by four glass doors with panel windows and patinated bronze pulls. The doors have tempered glass by Saint Gobain, France. The case is topped with a cornice molding. The bottom case has four doors opening to an open shelved storage area. The zinc finish has a lovely blackened graphite tone or gunmetal color. The cabinet is sturdy and heavy with excellent joinery and craftsmanship. The case is supported by decorative turned ball feet with ribbed detail. Incredible attention to detail with an imposing profile and aged patina. From an estate in Hollywood, California.
