Built by the Riverside Furniture Corporation in the 1960's in beautiful solid maple hardwood. It has spent its entire life in my grandmother's residence, never shuffled around through moving trucks or yard sells or damp storage units- it remains rock-solid and completely sturdy. The light surface scuffs and minor varnish wear on top and some edges are honest authentic age patina from gentle daily life in a loving Alabama home. It has been in my family since before I was born and bought for by my grandmother for her formal living room in 1968. It looks new. I'm sad to let it go. I have had it covered and kept that way for the last several years in doors and it has never been moved out of the original home it was bought for. I hope it moves to a collector that appreciates its value and history. See less
