This beautiful porcelain egg-shaped trinket box is from HEREND, famed porcelain maker since 1826. The hand-painted raspberry-hued "Chinese Bouquet" floral design features 24k gold accents and is rimmed in 24k gold. A decorative and useful piece for a vanity or bedside table, it also makes a pretty, candy-filled bonbonniere on a tabletop.
The egg measures approximately 4.5" L x 3" W at its widest point x 3"H at its highest point. It is signed on the base with the Herend Hungary mark. Condition is excellent, making this a lovely vessel for treasured keepsakes.
