Gorgeous and extremely rare pair of sculptural plaster table lamps by S+Mind, signed and dated 1987 and hand made in Denmark.
The bodies take the form of classical amphora vessels, rendered in a matte creamy-white ceramic with intentional surface variation, subtle pitting, and horizontal banding that emphasizes their architectural silhouette.
The integrated handles and generously scaled proportions give these lamps a strong Mediterranean and Neoclassical presence, while the minimalist monochrome finish keeps them firmly in the realm of sophisticated late-20th-century European design.
