Dating to the 1950s–1960s, it was most likely made in Italy and features rounded edges designed to hold just what’s needed for a couple’s cocktail- two glasses. The design of this vintage tray is typical of post-war Italian design, with sinuous, rounded shapes and the use of materials considered “humble,” yet elevated through thoughtful design. The aerodynamic structure of this small tray is made of anodized aluminum which, with its rose-gold tone, resembles brass. Coated with a layer of rubber, the aluminum frame houses a butter-yellow colored glass surface. The tray is in good vintage condition, showing only minimal signs of age and use. See less
