the … Read more An elegant side/coffee table from the mid-century modern period, manufactured in germany by howa (holzwarenfabrik kaltenengers) in the 1950s.
the characteristic kidney-shaped tabletop is finished with a decorative ceramic mosaic in pastel shades of turquoise, yellow and burgundy. The whole is encircled by a brass rim, which gives it an elegant, modernist character.
the slender, tapered solid wood legs are finished with brass feet. The original howa manufacturer's label with quality mark and historical price (evp) is preserved on the underside, confirming the authenticity of the item.
