Refined artistic glass ceiling light, crafted using the traditional leaded glass (glass mosaic) technique, dating back to the 20th century.
Features and Style: This piece recalls the aesthetic canons of the Liberty/Art Nouveau style, characterized by the skillful use of color and natural forms. The domed lampshade is composed of hundreds of opalescent and cathedral glass pieces, soldered together with tin. The decoration features a geometric sunburst motif on a cream/ivory background, enriched by floral medallions with pink flowers and green leaves. Particularly valuable is the inclusion of raised red glass cabochons, which lend three-dimensionality and precious highlights to the composition. The metallic finish of the lower tip and base is dark bronze, creating an elegant contrast.
