The upper section is built as an open lattice with mesh behind it, which makes the panel feel light and airy while still adding structure. The lower section features two broad wooden panels that bring weight and balance, with a beautiful grain pattern and subtle tonal variations that give the piece extra depth.

A recessed brass pull sits on the side, typical for this type of sliding door. At the bottom, the wheels/rollers are partially set into the wood. The wood shows normal signs of age and use (small scratches, slight discoloration, and patina).

In a contemporary interior, this door works beautifully as a wall panel or statement piece: leaned against the wall in a minimalist setting, used as a backdrop for ceramics, art, and plants, or placed as an architectural element behind a low sofa.
