Mjestic and rare pair of six-light candelabra dating back to the 20th century. These objects are of great importance and solidity, evidenced by their remarkable overall weight of 9.10 kg (indicating a solid, high-quality casting).
Style and Craftsmanship: The candelabras are crafted from bronze with a silvered surface. The design reflects the canons of the Empire/Neoclassical style: they rest on a solid square base decorated with acanthus leaf motifs and fluting. Five richly decorated, curved, volute-shaped arms branch out from the central stem, which, together with the central candle holder, form a total of six lights for each candelabra, creating a spectacular scenic effect.
Technical Details and Condition:
· Type: Pair of Table/Fireplace Candelabras.
· Style: Empire/Neoclassical.
· Material: Bronze/Silver-plated heavy metal.
· Flames: 6 per candelabra (12 lights total).
· Dimensions (each): Max. width 33 cm - Base 15.5 x 15.5 cm - Height 45 cm.
· Total Weight: 9.10 kg (Pair).
· Condition: Vintage, well-worn condition. The structure is intact and very solid.
· Patina Note: The surface shows obvious signs of age and use: the silver plating shows signs of wear that reveal the underlying metal, and there are traces of oxidation (green/copper) in the gaps between the decorations. This patina is not a defect but a characteristic that gives the pieces an antique, authentic, and decadent feel, highly prized by antique collectors.
Notes on Decor: Thanks to their size and weight, they are ideal for setting an important dining table (luxury table setting) or for dominating a large fireplace or a vintage console table.
