Iconic vintage Camaleonda modular sofa by Mario Bellini for B&B Italia, designed in 1970 and produced in 1975. This rare set is upholstered in its original light blue velvet and includes two large seating modules along with three matching Gli Scacchi elements. The Camaleonda is celebrated for its sculptural form, exceptional comfort, and modular system built on Bellini’s innovative network of cables, hooks, and rings. The accompanying Gli Scacchi pieces, queen, knight, and rook, were designed in 1971 and crafted in lightweight, self-adhesive polyurethane foam, a groundbreaking material at the time. Multifunctional as ottomans, tables, or decorative elements, they complement the sofa perfectly. Fully original, marked, and in excellent vintage condition with minor age-related wear.
