Made of beech wood, these chairs with their simple lines are typical of René Gabriel's style, combining sturdiness and practicality.

The furniture designed by Gabriel had to combine these two qualities in the context of post-World War II reconstruction. The aim was to create solid, easy-to-manufacture furniture while maintaining a sense of beauty and simplicity.

This set (not stackable) has been fully cleaned and restored in our workshops. The chairs are in good overall condition (see photos) and have a lovely golden honey patina.
