Up for sale is a wonderful vintage hand carved wooden Folk Art religious sculpture of the Virgin Mary and baby Jesus.
It's nicely carved by hand out of a solid dense block of wood with intricate detailing throughout and has acquired a lovely patina from age.
Mary stands on a rectangular plinth that is engraved with lettering but written in a different language.
It's in great condition and measures 16 1/2 inches tall by 6 1/2 inches wide by 3 1/2 inches back to front.
