Up for sale is a very nice quality antique original 18th century St. Magdalene oil painting.
It's beautifully painted on thick wooden paneling with a realistic approach and rich color.
It depicts Mary Magdalene seated wit her hands crossed and wresting over a human skull.
The detailing is truly superb and is an original composition.
The painting is set in an ornate 19th century gold gilded frame and is also matted.
It can be removed from behind if desired.
It measures 16 1/4 inches by 14 1/2 inches framed.
The wooden panel alone measures 10 3/4 inches by 9 1/4 inches.
It's in nice condition with normal ware.
