This is a beautiful English sterling silver teapot with separate tilting warmer stand. The only mark I found is shown in the pictures. The teapot has a Bakelite finial and handle.
Repoussé is a metalworking technique where a piece of metal is hammered from the reverse side to create a design in relief on the front. This technique was widely used in decorative arts, particularly for hollowware like teapots, kettles, and serving dishes, to create intricate and elaborate patterns. The style often features floral motifs, cherubs, or mythological scenes, adding a luxurious and artistic dimension to functional objects.. These pieces are highly collectible and appreciated for their craftsmanship and decorative appeal, often featuring ornate patterns and functional designs like this integrated warmer. The warmer stand has had a repair made to it (shown in the last picture). The separate stand measures 7” wide x 6” deep x 6” tall.
