This is an extremely high quality pair of antique solid bronze and marble electric table lamps which were once used … Read more This is an extremely high quality pair of antique solid bronze and marble electric table lamps which were once used in a Catholic Church.
They are of the highest quality and weigh 84 pounds.
each measures 37 1/2 inches tall by 16 1/2 inches wide, the base measures 10 inches in diameter. I put a picture of a generic sized can in-between the lamps to show perspective and how massive these lamps really are.
Each lamp holds 5 lamps in total, 4 in a row in the front and one a bit higher in the rear.
the sockets are made from painted white metal, cylinder candle shaped, and hold generic sized bulbs.
the circular base is made from a high gloss quality white marble which is nicely routed and also has wonderful brown colors.
attached to the circular marble base is a very thick bronze base which has a very dimensional star design.
if you look closely there is wonderfully textured finishes to the bronze on the inside of the star and one the outside.
The bronze shaft is very thick and done in a squared shape.
the arms have stunning detailing with crosses on the face of each, they also have very textured finish on the inside and outside of the design.
the lamps have an exquisite patina from age and both in beautiful condition.
