Beautiful pair of Søholm Stentøj small Danish mid-century modern bedside table lamps in richly glazed organic modern stoneware in beautiful natural tones of green, brown and cream. Produced on Bornholm in the 1960s. Paired with new unique architectural linen lampshades. They have been newly rewired with new sockets and EU plugs; U.S. adapters are included.
About Søholm Keramik
Søholm Keramik was founded in 1835 on the Danish island of Bornholm and became one of the country’s most important ceramic workshops in the mid-20th century. Known for its high-quality stoneware and distinctive glazes, Søholm played a central role in the development of Danish and Scandinavian Modern ceramics. Works from the 1950s and 1960s are especially valued for their restrained forms, organic surfaces, and strong connection to natural materials and traditional craftsmanship.
