Elegant swedish table/ desk lamp made in 1940 for asea. This model e1139 designed by sonja katzin for asea. Carved striped pattern on the lamp foot with curved arm. New shade. This lamp with its age has a nice-looking patina. Dimensions: h 18 in. X w 8 in. X d 15 in. Sonja katzin designed several lamp models for asea with carved pattern on the brass elements of the lamps. Sonja katzin was a swedish sculptor and designer during the mid and late 20th century. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
issues arising from misattribution,
