Absolutely exquisite pair of fully restored, hand dyed Cigar brown leather, Chesterfield Tufted Baron footstools
These stools have been on a journey of restoration, the leather has been replaced by a third generation trained Victorian upholsterer, he has used fully aniline premium Italian cattle hide leather which is upholstered plain as was the tradition, the hide has been hand nail tacked in place using vintage antique brass studs, the boarder has twin studding all around, the leather has then been hand dyed six times, antiqued, sealed, waxed down and polished, the frame has been lightly French polished in such a way so as to keep all the original age and patina The end result is a truly sublime pair of vintage stools in better than new condition
