The vessel features intricate sculptural reliefs of climbing figures intertwined with floral motifs, showcasing provost’s characteristic attention to movement and detail. Around 1930, the vase was sensitively transformed into a table lamp, preserving its artistic integrity while giving it a new functional life. The piece is topped with a pleated fabric shade that complements the rich patina of the bronze. A rare and striking decorative object blending 19th-century french artistry with early 20th-century craftsmanship. Very good vintage condition with natural patina and minor signs of age. Wiring: all our lamps are wired for eu standards. Unfortunately, we have neither the means nor the qualifications to wire them for us standards.
